Financial Tip of the Day: Pay your Taxes

According to this CNN story, the original Survivor winner, Richard Hatch, did not report his winnings and appearance income. I read elsewehre that he now faces up to a $500,000 penalty on top of the taxes he owes and the possibility of jail time.

Hmmmm, if you win a million dollars on national TV, it is probably a good idea to report it.
