It is such a rare occurrence, it is worth making a special post to admit it.

"Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon" is probably the best horror genre satire that you never knew existed.

It is pretty funny and pretty clever. You can tell it is pretty low budget, but that doesn't really matter. I gave it 4/5 stars on Netflix.

Also note I said "satire" and not "spoof". I liked this movie and I would rather have Leslie Vernon poke my eyes out than sit through the "Scary Movie" spoof movies.

Wow, I love Netflix. I really am not missing (scheduled) television at all.

On that note I learned that you can have multiple profiles for one Netflix subscription. This rocks for me because 1/3 to 1/2 of my DVDs are television shows I never watched and I do not want all two or three DVDs of the same show at the same time since I only watch them in order. But I might want to watch a movie before I finish one TV DVD. To prevent this big waste I had to keep reshuffling the queue.

But now I created a "TV Show Profile" that I only put TV shows into and is only allocated 1 DVD slot. Since all the TV shows are in that slot, it isn't possible to have more than 1 TV show at a time and that way I don't have to push through 4 shows all at once just to get my next movie.

Is he smuggling a pillow in case he tips over?

The first good thing to come out of France in a long time, deezer.com lets you play virtually any song, any time you want, in any customized play list you want.

I have it open in a tab in firefox and it is working well.

The sound quality may not be the greatest, but it sounds fine on my laptop speakers.

The best thing is they have signed a deal with the record companies so it is legal. Hopefully this means they won't get shut down.

No, not the food that is awesome, but the marketing. Jack in the Box is being sued by a large group of Angus producing and retailing groups for running commercials that their "sirloin burger" is superior to any "Angus burger" and for implying that "Angus meat" comes from "cow anus".

Of course sirloin is a type of cut and Angus is a type of cow, but who cares. When I get to California I'm going to buy a Jack in the Box burger for having the guts to imply your competitors' sandwiches are made of cow anus.

Citi Dividend

I think most of my readers have a Citi Dividend card. You probably received a glossy pamphlet about your Dividend card being converted to a World card.

There are no real benefits to the conversion.

There are, however, several downsides.

The card will have a new number so all of your auto-payments will have to be changed
This is a "prestige" card that doesn't report a spending limit (although they won't let you spend an unlimited amount either). This may sound good but your credit report won't show a limit so they will assume the largest amount you spend is your limit. This could make it look like your card is maxed out if you happened to spend extra one month.

So if you have no auto-bill payments and aren't going to be applying for a car loan or mortgage in the next six months it might be easiest to do nothing. However, if (1) or (2) apply to you, you have until June 30 to call the phone number to decline the conversion.

A lot of you probably know I'm pretty cheap. Also you probably know my food tastes aren't all that refined. If it is salty, meat based, or fried then I probably like it.

Well CiCi's Pizza has an all you can eat buffet for $4.49 including salads, pizza, and dessert. I thought this would be right up my alley.

I was wrong, I paid $4.49 and I think I paid too much. The crust tasted like cardboard and the toppings were incredibly sparse (1-2 pepperonis per slice for example).

Instead of all you can eat, it is more like all you CARE to eat. They make it so bad even though you can eat more you don't want to eat anymore.

This is coming from a guy who thinks Golden Corral actually has pretty decent all you can steak so you know it is bad.
